Payment history and receipts

Overview

After a student or instructor completes checkout, Payment History is the place to confirm what was purchased and when. TeachFront treats successful payments as receipt-style records: you should see the amount paid, what was purchased (for example an individual course payment or a membership slot), and enough context to verify the correct account and course.

What Payment History includes

Payment History can include:

  • Individual course payments — when a student pays for access to a specific course.
  • Course membership slot purchases — when an instructor buys slots so more students can join a paid course.

Exact labels and fields depend on your course access type and the checkout flow shown in the UI.

After a successful checkout

When checkout completes successfully, you should see confirmation that includes:

  • the amount charged
  • what was purchased (course access, one or more membership slots, or another item shown at checkout)
  • the course or account the payment applies to

If you land on a generic success page without these details, open Payment History from your account or course billing area and refresh after a moment.

If checkout fails or is canceled

Use these steps before contacting support:

  1. Return to the course or billing page and try checkout again.
  2. Confirm you are signed in to the same account you intend to pay with.
  3. Allow pop-ups if your browser blocked the payment window.
  4. Note any error message shown and the approximate time of the attempt.

When you contact support, include the course name, account email, amount you attempted to pay, and what you were trying to purchase (for example “one membership slot”).
