Course files overview
Overview
The Files tab lists course-wide materials your instructor uploaded—syllabus attachments, handouts, or other shared documents outside a specific assignment submission.
Open course files
- Open the course.
- Select Files.
Browse folders and files in the directory view. Select a file to download or open it using the actions shown.
Assignment files
Files attached to a particular assignment usually appear on that assignment page. Use Files for materials that apply to the whole course.
Troubleshooting
| Situation | What to try |
|---|---|
| No files shown | Your instructor may not have uploaded course files yet. |
| Cannot open a file | Try another browser; check download permissions. |
