Sign in to your account
Overview
Sign in with your registered email address and password to access your TeachFront account and your courses.
Before you start
- You must have a registered TeachFront account (see Register for an account).
- Your email must be verified before you can sign in.
Sign in
- Go to the TeachFront login page.
- Enter your email address.
- Enter your password.
- Select Sign in.
If your credentials are correct, you'll be taken to your Dashboard, which shows your courses and any pending tasks.
Returning to a page after sign in
If you were trying to access a specific course or page when you signed out, you'll be asked to sign in first. After sign in, you'll return to that page automatically.
Can't sign in?
| Situation | What to try |
|---|---|
| Incorrect email or password | Double-check your email spelling and password (caps matter). If you're not sure, try resetting your password. |
| Email not verified | You may not have verified your email yet. Go to the login page and select Resend verification email to complete sign-up. |
| Account not found | The email you entered may not be registered. Check the email spelling or register a new account instead. |
| Too many login attempts | For security, your account may be temporarily locked. Wait a few minutes and try again, or reset your password. |
| Blank Dashboard or courses not showing | Refresh your browser. If the issue persists, sign out and sign back in. |
What's on the Dashboard?
After signing in, you see:
- Your Courses — active courses you are enrolled in or teaching
- Pending Tasks — recent announcements, due dates, and action items
- Quick actions — join a course (with a code) or create a new course (if you're an instructor)
Session timeout and security
- You'll stay signed in for 14 days of inactivity. If you haven't interacted with the page for that period, you'll be asked to sign in again for security.
- To sign out earlier, use the Sign Out option in your account menu (top right).
