Reset your password

Overview

Password reset lets you recover a forgotten password or change your password for security reasons. Use this workflow if you can't remember your current password or want to set a new one.

Reset a forgotten password

If you've forgotten your password:

  1. Go to the TeachFront login page.
  2. Select Forgot your password?
  3. Enter the email address associated with your TeachFront account.
  4. Select Send reset link.

A confirmation message appears: We've sent you a password reset email.

Complete the reset

  1. Check your email inbox (and spam folder) for a message from TeachFront with subject Reset your TeachFront password.
  2. Select the reset password link in the email (or copy it into your browser).
  3. On the Set a new password form:
    • Enter your new password (must meet the strength requirements shown)
    • Confirm your new password
  4. Select Set password.

Your password has been changed. Sign in with your new password.

Change your password while signed in

To change your password when you already remember your current password:

  1. Sign in to your TeachFront account.
  2. Open your account menu (top right of the page).
  3. Select Account Settings or Profile.
  4. Look for a Change Password or Security section.
  5. Enter your current password, then enter your new password twice (for confirmation).
  6. Select Save or Update.

A confirmation message appears when your password has been changed successfully.

Password requirements

Passwords must:

  • Be at least 8 characters long
  • Include at least one uppercase letter (A–Z)
  • Include at least one lowercase letter (a–z)
  • Include at least one number (0–9)
  • Include at least one special character (!, @, #, $, %, etc.)

Example of a strong password

MySpring2024! — includes upper, lower, number, and symbol

password123 — missing uppercase and special character

Troubleshooting

SituationWhat to try
Reset email not receivedCheck your spam folder; add support@teachfront.com to your contacts and retry.
Reset link expiredGo back to the login page and request a new reset link. Reset links expire after 24 hours.
Password still won't workEnsure Caps Lock is off. If you continue having trouble signing in, contact TeachFront support with your email address.
New password won't saveConfirm your password meets all requirements (upper, lower, number, symbol). Re-enter both fields exactly the same.
Locked out of accountFor security, after several failed sign-in attempts, your account may be temporarily locked. Wait 15 minutes and try again, or use Forgot your password? to reset.
